Check this out. There’s this nifty blog called Repaneled. You may have heard of it. In brief, artists are encouraged to submit re-envisioned comic book panels in their own style. I’ve known about the blog for a while but never submitted, mainly because I wasn’t sure what panel I wanted to use. Well, the other day I ran across this:
It’s by an artist named Fletcher Hanks, who I’d never heard of, but, man, what a crazy guy! When I saw this I knew it was the panel I had to draw. I mean, just look at it! So that, my friends, is the genesis of today’s weirdo drawing. I definitely encourage you to check out Repaneled sometime, it’s a lot of fun.
